Multiquip Showcases Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powered Light Tower and GloBug at NAB Show in Las Vegas

NAB Show, Las Vegas (April 13, 2011) –

WHO: Multiquip, a diverse manufacturer and supplier of world class quality products and solutions, will display its H2LT hydrogen fuel cell powered light tower and GloBug at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in booth # N2637.

WHAT: The NAB Show, held annually in Las Vegas, is the world’s largest electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums.

Innovative by design, the Multiquip H2LT light tower is environmentally friendly, pollution-free, allowing it to be operated indoors and can be operated for up to 68 hours at a remarkable low noise level of only 43 decibels at 23 feet.  Because of the load following feature of the fuel cell, power is only produced as needed providing an unmatched fuel efficiency compared to conventional combustion engines running at full load at all times.

The Multiquip GloBug is innovative glare-free, 360° balloon light. Rugged in construction, but lightweight for easy transport, the GloBug offers a high output, up to 110,000 lumens, which creates greater illumination, offering a better solution to traditional lighting equipment. The GloBug uses Metal Halide light bulbs, which offer non-glare light and reduce shadows. Additionally, Metal Halide bulbs are able to withstand vibration and rugged jobsite conditions than halogen designs.
