REGO-FIX® Invites Attendees to Meet the Experts at EMO 2011

Indianapolis, Indiana, July 21, 2011 — In addition to unveiling brand new products, REGO-FIX will be inviting EMO 2011 show attendees to visit stand B12 in Hall 4 to “meet the experts.”  Industry experts Michael Reichmann of Primacon, Gotz Lebkuchner of MTU Aero Engines and Peter Jakadofsky of Jakadofsky JetEngines will be on hand to discuss how their facilities benefit from using the REGO-FIX powRgrip toolholding system. EMO is scheduled for September 19-24 in Hannover, Germany.

Reichmann is an applications engineer at Primacon, a producer of high-precision micro machining centers. The company exclusively supplies the powRgrip toolholding system with all its machining centers to guarantee quality and precision.

Lebkuchner, a material and process engineer at MTU Aero Engines, will discuss how his company increased productivity with powRgrip in the manufacture of titanium blisks. The company is Germany’s leading engine manufacturer.

Jakadofsky, CEO and owner of Jakadofsky JetEngines, will explain the benefits of incorporating powRgrip into the company’s Austria turboshaft and gas turbine manufacturing plant. The company uses the system to precisely and securely hold small tools for super alloy machining operations.

At EMO, REGO-FIX will also be displaying its REGO PLUS dual-contact toolholders. Fully compatible with all BIG-PLUS spindles, the REGO PLUS line of toolholders is licensed by BIG Daishowa and includes a full line of ER and powRgrip system toolholders. REGO PLUS offers manufacturers the advantages of better TIR, improved tool stiffness, increased quality of surface finishes and higher machine accuracies.

REGO-FIX’s XL (Extended Length) Holder System will also be highlighted at the show and features new (patent pending) Micro-Friction-Dampening (MFD) technology to absorb and dampen unwanted vibrations faster than standard long length holders. The toolholders are offered with CAT, BT, TC and HSK tapers in 2” increments up to a maximum length of 15.7” (400 mm). Versions of the products will be available in the ER 16, ER 32, PG10, PG15 and PG25 series of REGO-FIX toolholders.
